Ashton - Rainy Day
Black Cavendish, Virginias and Burley blended to produce a mild to medium strength mixture. This is aged for a month in old bourbon barrels to impart flavour and give the blend a smooth character.
Made into an aromatic by the addition of a tropical fruit essence and hickory nut dressing the nose note is sweet and fruity, light up and the taste is wonderful. A slow, cool burning blend that is very satisfactory.
Ashton - Artisans Blend
Latakia, Perique, Turkish/Oriental and Virginias with no flavouring are the ingredients, the result is a ribbon cut blend that's medium bodied with a reasonable a nicotine hit. The Latakia labels it as an English mixture with its smoky profile but the other tobaccos add to the party.
Ashton - Consumate Gentleman
An English mixture with Burley, Maryland, Virginia and Latakia as the base. Medium strength with an average nicotine hit many will find this blend to be perfectly enjoyable. A nice all-day tobacco if you enjoy Latakia blends.
Ashton - Guilty Pleasure
Burley from Carolina,Virginias and Black Cavendish topped with vanilla, mango and tropical citrus, and ribbon cut for ease of use. A smooth rich and sweet mild aromatic, great for beginners and experienced pipe smokers.
Solani - Festival 333
A popular aromatic blend containing red and gold Virginias, Black Cavendish and some Burley. This is cased with a plum, forest fruits and vanilla flavouring that hits the spot. Great for beginners, it's smooth and sweet on the tongue, it lights easily and has a pleasant aroma for others. A mild to medium blend with not too much nicotine. A pipeful that can be enjoyed whether it's an occasion, or not.
Solani - White & Black 763
A broken flake made using dark Virginias, Black Cavendish and Latakia tobaccos. The individual characteristics of each leaf blend into a harmonious experience that's medium in strength, smooth and having a pleasant nicotine hit. A good outdoor smoke as it won't offend many.
Solani - Virginia & Black 127
In theory this blend shouldn't work, who uses tart green apples? However this smooth and fruity smoke is delightful, it uses a mixture of bright and red Virginis with double fermented Black Cavendish. The apple flavouring has a little cinnamon added to form a rich aromatic ribbon cut blend. Mild, so it's good for beginners, its sweet and pleasant on the tongue, a good aroma that won't upset anyone.
Solani - Red Label 131
Solani have taken blending to another level, 131 use bright and Red Carolina Virginias, Burley and some sweet Black Cavendish. Scotch whiskey is the dominant flavouring and it works very well with the natural flavours of the various tobaccos. A smooth aromatic smoke, great for the starter, and quite mild in strength. A nice easy all-day blend if aromatics are your thing.
